There has been a church on this strategic site in

Axminster since at least the twelfth century. Each

century is represented in some part of this beautiful

building, thus demonstrating its complex history.

The present building is Grade 2* listed and is the

oldest surviving building in the town, requiring

constant maintenance. It costs approximately £12

an hour to keep it open!

The lunchtime concerts provide a means not only of

promoting high musical standards within the community and inspiring young and aspiring musicians to work

towards their goals, but also assists the church

community in raising funds for the upkeep of the building.

There is no charge for admission to the concerts,

but we rely on your donations and gift-aid to help

us meet our regular financial commitments
