THE PEACE

All Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of God’s infinite peace to you.

Intercessions & Thanksgivings

We hold before God:

those who have difficult tasks to do and to face, and who fear they may fail in them;

those who have difficult temptations to face, and who know only too well that they may fall to them, if they

try to meet them alone.

We hold before God:

those who have difficult people to work with;

those who have to suffer unjust treatment, unfair criticism, unappreciated work;

those who know that they can be their own worst enemies.

We hold before God:

 those who suffer because of the actions of others;

those who suffer because of the greed, violence and intolerance of others.

We hold before God:

those for whom life is very difficult;

those who have difficult decisions to make, and who honestly do not know what is the right thing to do;

those who need healing

We hold before God:

any who are disappointed in something for which they had hoped very much;

those who are sad because someone they loved has died.

All Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power,
and the glory for ever and ever.
Amen.

BLESSING

All May the peace of the Lord Christ go with us,
wherever He may send us.
May He guide us through the wilderness,
protect us through the storm.
May He bring us home rejoicing
at the wonders He has shown us.
May He bring us home rejoicing
once again into our doors

All Amen
